Pick N Mix - Week Starting 10 November 2008
Monday, Monday, ba da ba da da da…
- A message for Obama. This Flickr blog asks you to “Hold up your message to the camera and tell the world what you’d like to tell him.”
- Dubai is crazy yo! You’ve probably seen lots of slideshows with pictures of Dubai and it’s crazy developments, there were a lot in here that I hadn’t seen yet though. Like the Dubailand mock ups; it will be twice the size of Disney Land on 3 billion square feet! O_O
- I’m getting married in this dress…or something similar (in my dreams at least!).
- JK has condensed 8 years of his life into less than 2 minutes. His project is extraordinarily well done.
- Notice. David Shrigley took this photo along with many others on his site. I really love them.
- If you still get scared of monsters under the bed, people grabbing you from behind the couch, or spiders you may not want to look at this collection of childhood fear photographs. They’re really well done, but made me a bit freaked out.
- Eerie in the shadows.
- Leo Babauta writes on branding and how to promote your blog like he did with Zen Habits.
- E.T.A by Junk premiered at BreakPoint ‘08 in Bingen, Germany where it won the 1st prize in the animation competition.
- Yep definitely Photoshopped
- Conan O’Brien is a funny man!

:D Even better that it’s supposed to be a prom dress. Seems way to hard out for a prom dress though.
The monster under the/stairs/bed/behind couch/in closet ones scare me most/ I should probably stop going to that page, I’m going to have nightmares!

That wedding dress is indeed beautiful, and the branding article is really useful! Another brilliant selection of links :)

I am officially hooked on Joshua Hoffine, thanks sooo much for those photos. I love macabre pictures. I’d love to be in a photo covered in fake blood.

I happened upon those childhood fear photos too and they wound me up so much I had to watch three episodes of ‘Paris Hilton is my new BFF’ just to calm down. That’s right. I HAD to. ;)

O for sure…I just hope you didn’t have nightmares about Paris attacking you with the spray tan or something instead.
