Alternative title: My boy is the bestest.

On Saturday my crazy, plasticy, 50s housewife, checked, Portmans dress got its first outing at a park for a friends birthday, the weather was amazing.

That was followed by a costume change to this Jacqui E dress, featuring some new sneakers.

We saw an acquaintances band play (Citizen Cadre watch out for those guys!) then went back to a friends apartment and danced till 3am.

On the way home we found a pile of ribbons on the street which the boy grabbed for me while I grinned with glee.

Like most lifestyle bloggers I like to document my life with pictures as well as words so Saturday should have meant heaps of snaps to share. Except the camera died on Friday night at my social club xmas do. The lense motor is screwed and would cost more than a new camera to fix. I was pretty gutted but all this led to me getting my xmas present 9 days early!
I don’t think the boy could handle my depression and whining over the loss of the camera any more so he presented me with a brand new pink Nikon Coolpix.

He had already purchased it last week, sneakily spending way over the agreed budget.

I am SO happy to finally have a camera of my own!! :D
