Week 1 Project 365 2009

Well I made it through week 1 of the Project 365 challenge. Pay particular attention to the 4th of January :D

1 January 2009 – The sun sets over Lake Taupo on the first day of 2009

Sunset over Lake Taupo

2 January 2009 – Lots of driving today, thankfully the weather was pretty bad most of the way home because the car turned into a sauna when the sun came out. We should have bought a car with aircon!

Fields at 100km

3 January 2009 – I bought this cuff from the children’s section of Farmers. I love it. I wish they made kids clothes in adult sizes.

Star cuff

4 January 2009 – Ta da! I have a fringe for the first time since I was a young child. My bff Chickie Little is the talented lady behind the cut. I think everyone loves it, so many compliments!

New fringe

5 January 2009 – These posters are everywhere in Wellington. There are others with Fork and Fast on them too. I have no idea what it means.

6 January 2009 – We went bowling at The Lanes for Chickie Little’s hubby’s birthday. Got some sweet “Ladies Night” deals too despite “Ladies Night” not happening any more because they still had it advertised on their website (and still do now!).

Bowling balls

7 January 2009 – “Hoon” sprayed on a pedestrian crossing in Mt Victoria.

I was interested in the Hue and Cry Panda poster, so I looked it up. The Hue and Cry is a literary journal!

The bangs are looking great! I haven’t had bangs in ages either. I”m actually afraid to get them.

  2. Ms Constantine Says:

Thanks for that Jackie. I can’t seem to find an actual Hue & Cry site which is frustrating, just lots of reviews etc.

If you want bangs you should try them. I made sure I got them long to start with in case they didn’t suit me. But I love them. Technically with my square face I should never get bangs, but rules are made to be broken :D

  3. Chickie Little Says:

Yay, I’m glad you like your bangs! Girl’s hair is so much more fun to cut than boys – although bangs don’t really count as a haircut… maybe we should expand on it… :D

  4. Ms Constantine Says:

Lame, bangs should totally count as a haircut. It’s a pretty big change!

But I’m all for you experimenting on my hair if you want to. You’ve lured me into a false sense of security now.

  5. GirlonTour Says:

Lake Taupo! One of my favourite places on earth!

  6. Ms Constantine Says:

It’s gorgeous isn’t it. Such calm water. I’m looking forward to the next time we can take a break there!

  7. Em Says:

I am hearting ur 365′s, and your fringe!
