So Many Fonts
I may have exaggerated in my previous post when I said that I don’t work on my blog when I’m sick home from work. How else can you explain the last few hours I spent looking at every single font on the urbanfonts website. And they’re all free today (well, they’re free everyday but I really like saying it in the creepy child catcher voice from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).
I made my selections from the thousands available and now I have to choose what I want to use for my title, tagline and signature.
What’s your favourite? Do you use a special font?

Ooh those are really pretty! I think I’m going to have to download a load of them tonight!
I like the font “Walk Around the Block”.
I found it at dafont.com, and I used it for the text in my header.
I like 4 and 14 the best from that list.
I guess it all depends of what kind of feel you want. The one with the hearts feels all lovey and romantic, the third from the bottom seems artistic with the brush strokes, the bottom one reminds me of Harry Potter for some reason, the 9th one is interesting, but a bit hard to read, the scripty ones are elegant… but I think I like the 12th one best.

@ Jackie – Walk around the block is cute and looks great in your header. I love 4 and 14 a lot too. Especially 14…I really should have numbered them!
@Kristi – I think I want something rough and grungy for my header, something scribbly for the tagline and something scripty for my signature. That’s why those three types are in the list prominently. I really love the 3rd from bottom too. I chose the bottom one purely for the capitals, kinda cute, not sure I’ll use it though. It might be useful in other projects.
Agreed re number 9 but I’m not sure where I stand on number 12, I really like it but it’s not quite out there enough.
20 is my fave, and the love hearts one is super cute but you would sooo have to balance it out with some grunge.
I also like the one 6th from the bottom, but it looks like it needs to be a bit bigger to be clear.
@ Karlie – 20 is nice for a signature. Do you mean the one 7th from the bottom with the swirly Cs? I had to make it smaller to fit on the page I was screen dumping, I kind of went an ass about face way of making the fonts into a picture. I can confirm it looks much nicer when it’s bigger though.
I like the 19th & 20th lines :)
My favourite font for personal use is Bickham Script Pro which I snatched up from Adobe Font Folio. I even used in on my resume!
