I'm A Dick I'm Addicted To…

T shirts and Sneakers.
There’s no point denying it. No point trying to fit in with the other girls. There’s no reason for me to try to wear high heels, elaborate swishing blouses, or huge cowl neck sweaters.
I can admire stilettos, platforms, and pumps as pieces of art. I want to buy them because they’re pretty, but I just can’t wear something that makes me that uncomfortable.
All colours and styles of shirt adorn my change room but the black t shirts are the only ones that get worn.
It’s always a thrill to find a t shirt that is fun and funky, black, in my size and, in my price range. My biggest problem is I have no idea what I’m looking for until I find it. I’m extremely picky about what I buy. But I don’t know what to search for to find my ideal pieces. I’m not a label whore so I can’t even narrow it down by name.
Finding pretty sneakers is harder. When the shoe gods make sneakers available in shoe stores in as many varied styles and colours as they do for heels I’ll be a very happy lady.
So, there you have it. I don’t give a shit about the latest catwalk design that makes you look like you got caught on a barbed wire fence. I want tees. Witty, dark, and cute tees. And I want them paired with sneakers.

Awesome! & I kinda agree. I mean I love pretty shoes & dresses as well as my trainers & tees, but I too could not give a shit about catwalk designs & stuff. I don’t get the whole “that’s so last season!” snobbery– If I like it, I’ll bloody wear it! Haha. I’m getting angry ;D
Amen!
While I don’t often wear t-shirts (I think they make me look kinda boyish) I’ve never been one to follow trends or catwalk fashions. And, it’s hard for me to fathom the obsession with mile high shoes considering even the smallest heel makes my feet ache. I definitely appreciate a snazzy outfit, Jeans, a cotton shirt, and some sweet kicks make me feel awesome.
Those sneakers are hoooooooooot!
Just an fyi … after much wishing, hoping, praying, and pleading – ThinkGeek has finally released the KOoDS t-shirt as a ladies tee!
Woooo! Thank you for the info!!
Now I just need to find out how long their babydoll tees are. I’m taller than average and find lots of t shirts are way too short.
O and I also have to get rich so I can afford a shirt that costs $50 US delivered!
I like a girl who knows what she wants!!
Right on!
Most of my tees are white with some big graphic print on them. Luckily, I fit into a men’s medium so all of my tees are from the men’s section (dudes always get more interesting prints).
I’m reeaally picky about sneakers and I’ve noticed that I either love or hate each season: one season I’ll want every sneaker ever, then the next season all of them will be ugly. I think we’re currently in an ugly season, and I desperately want a new pair of all leather, preferably Nike, low tops.
Guys get all the great stuff! I have a few guys tees too.
I’m reeeeeeally picky about everything I buy especially sneakers though. I’m always lamenting the lack of prettyness so when I find something I like I really should buy it no matter the price! And in NZ there is even less choice, it sucks, I did like a few of the pairs I saw today though.
