Hier Und Jetzt – 7 August 2009
I’m listening to:Wow, wow, wow. Rick Astley and Nirvana who would’ve thought they’d make the best mashup!? I love this song so much.
Nirvana vs Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give Your Teen Spirit up
Jace Everett – Bad Things (better known as the True Blood theme song)
Watched this week: The Soloist
On my wishlist Best buy:
I’ve already linked to this bag twice, but I’ve been thinking about it all week and I haven’t mentioned it on here for 8 months so it’s time for another outing.
I. Want. This. Bag! Why is it so hard to ship internationally? :[
[Edit - I am such a dick, why in the past year did I not think to search the net to see if anyone else stocks their gear? Brain fog finally cleared and I just bought the bag from the UK at a cheaper price than getting it from Loungefly direct. I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself even though it took me so long!]
I’m loving: Being a geek, sleeping till noon, having a supportive partner and family, having a doctor that cares, True Blood, http://twitter.com/MsConstantine/status/3104724658, attracting great customers.
Favourite photo: The tree that refused to believe it was winter

that photo is gorgeous! so is the bag, very cute! reminds me of tokidoki xxx
“True Blood” is freaking awesome. A nice foil to the “Twilight” mania!
That first mash up is awesome, so good!
There are TONS of Asley mashups with other songs. They all kill me on the inside. :3
I ADORE the Nirvana/Astley mash-up. It makes me giggle so much.
As for Jace Everett, I don’t know what they changed in to the True Blood intro (I think that electric noise), but there’s something so much more delicious about it now….
I have that bag! & matching purse. Except mine’s grey & white, not black. It’s amazing isn’t it? People always comment on it when I use it. Have fun with yours! x
Awesome, I’m glad you have it and are happy with it!
Oh wow, I love that picture of the tree! Their’s something very magical about it. Makes me long for winter. I really like your blog, I’m adding it to my blogroll!
Hey Ashley. It’s magical isn’t it!
I’m glad you like the blog, thanks. :]
My favourite bubble of bastard pop at the moment is ‘My Humps’ mixed with ‘Can’t Touch This’, check it out!
The mash-up is hilarious!
If you like the Jace Everett song you should check out C.C. Adcock’s Lafeyette Marquis disc. It’s available for download on Amazon. It’s got that gritty Louisiana road house swamp-rock sound. He actually appeared on the show – the band playing at Arlene and Rene’s engagement party.
Thanks! I figured they must have been a real band they way they were filming them.
When real bands are on TV shows they seem to get special advertorial treatment.
