No no, I can’t lay claim to the beautiful cake. That was Chickie’s sister in law. She makes and decorates cakes as a side business and offered to do one for the shower. She did such a great job. It was delicious and pretty!

I LOVE ambrosia. I’d just never made it myself before. Everyone seems to have a slightly different mix of ingredients.
Mine was cream, berry yoghurt, marshmallows and pineapple lumps. Pineapple lumps aren’t necessary but a yum addition.

I LOVE your photo posts! :D What did you think of the ambrosia? My sister’s boyfriend makes it, and it’s one of my favourite desserts ever! (I’m not sure if she uses standard ingredients though, because I’d never heard of it outside of her – marshmallows, shredded coconut, cream, vanilla essence and pieces of pineapple – does that sound right?)
