Hier Und Jetzt – 18 October 2009

Watched this week: The Matrix

Wishlist: I am so in love with this plaid skirt from Etsy seller PINaR ERIS. I really like plaid, and ruffles, and I’m actually really starting to like yellow. Perfect.

Best buy: My first tattoo! More to come on that next week when it’s more healed and I have better photos.

I’m loving:

  • Tattoos!
  • Brunch with my Dad
  • Amazing new friends from the internet
  • Pink helium balloons
  • The huge number of compliments I get on my red Nikes
  • Clothes swap/beauty treatments/food and fun at the Pretty Pretty Pretty party. I Scored a couple of great skirts and tops. I wore one today, I know that’s so not cool – to wear second hand clothes without washing them first – but I’m pretty sure no one died in it so I don’t care.
  • Buttery salty couscous. I have eaten so much couscous this week, it’s delicious!

ooh tattoo = exciting. Can’t wait to see it!
(and shhh. sometimes I wear second hand clothes without washing too – if I’m too happy with it to wait the wash and dry cycles first time round)

I also love getting compliments on my nike’s! though mine are grey and neon pink (they’re pretty old btw… ._. I can feel my aracno-shopping sense activating!)

Sooo, is wearing second hand clothing as bad as wearing new underwear before they are washed? Just trying to get a sense of clothing etiquette here ;)
I can’t wait to see your tattoo! Did it hurt? Did you cry? I found the sensation more annoying and niggling than painful, but mine only took 20 minutes – perhaps if it took longer I may have started whining.
As for cous cous – hella yeah! Delicious. Try it mixed with spring onion, tomato, peas and corn and some grated cheese or feta in capsicum halves, then bake them. So damn good.

I never ever wash new clothes before wearing. Shhh.:p

The tattoo felt scratchy and I may have winced once or twice as she went on the bone but I was surprised at how little it hurt! Mine was a baby too. Maybe 15 minutes. We’ll see with the next one, a bigger one, how I go.

I got my first tattoo little over a month ago.. and it didn’t hurt too bad.. Mind you i have had two babies, the most recent being a 100% drug free labour.. mine took about a week to heal amd look all pwetty :D well really i got tattoo’s lol.. one on each arm

ANYWAYS the point of this is: your awesome. love your writing & style. keep up the good work.

Hey Em-aaarrrr! Great to have you here, thanks for saying hi and leaving lovely compliments! :D

I can imagine the pain of a tattoo would be unnoticeable compared to the pain of childbirth. Are there photos of you tattoos online?

Don’t get too excited. This is just a baby one. The bigger one I’ve been planning will be done in December, that’s the one I’ve been collecting inspiration photos for.

This one is just a pretty little initial.
