That was a really great article and certainly explained why the negative attitudes exist, and it definitely made me rethink my stand on the topic. I'm not a regular reader of Men with Pens so hadn't actually seen all that much of James' writing. K. Rowling and George Eliot and so forth took on pen names and managed to not turn into misogynists.
