I have many “girl crushes”. Most of my girlfriends I guess..

I have my new years resolutions as well as weekly resolutions too.

When I think about it I pretty much have crushes on ALL my friends. For their own little reasons. I wouldn’t hang out with them if I didn’t love them! I get lots of inspiration from everyone I hang out with

Corrine, your post rocks! Girl Crushes are awesome. I always use them to look closely at the person and see what exactly it is I admire and how I can incorporate that feature into my own life.

One caveat though – from a girl who had someone crush on her to the point that this girl because dangerously obsessive and unstable, and the police were nearly involved – don’t lose yourself. Don’t try and BE somebody else or rely on somebody else’s life to make you happy. That’s not healthy girl-crushing :(

You’re awesome because you are YOU, and I don’t want little Steff clones running around :) For one thing, all the sausage rolls would get eaten before I could get to them.

Ah yes, completely agree! I have a few girl crushes that I look up to always, and try to incorporate the qualities that I love about them into my life (appearance wise or personality wise) until I find out where I’m most comfortable and just merge them with my own qualities. Like a mix and match, yay!

What a lovely post! I’m a huge advocate of girl crushes, and have too many at any given time. Corrine made some wonderful points though, about using our girl crushes to identify aspects of ourselves and incorporating in to our daily lives…imagine a world of girls who should ALL be crushed on!
