15 April 2009 – Amazing clouds!
17 April 2009 – We saw the coolest little run down place amidst the apartments and bars in the parliament area. So random.
19 April 2009 – I was forced (forced I tell you!) to stay in my PJs all weekend. I literally put them on on Friday night and didn’t take them off till Monday morning. My life is not at all glamorous. I was also forced to watch 6 movies and 4 downloaded TV shows while simultaneously surfing the net (forced!).
20 April 2009 – See, not glamorous. Mmm gluggy.
21 April 2009 – Unicorn vs Vulture…who will win? Just wait till we add Narwhal to the fight, dun dun dunnnnn.

8 April 2009 -Interesting textures on a garage door
9 April 2009 – Fields on the way to Hawkes Bay.
12 April 2009
These swampy areas on the outskirts of Hawkes Bay are one of my favourite parts of the drive. It’s like a graveyard for dead and dried up trees. One day I’m going to get in there with waders and photograph it to death.
My camera can be pretty terrible and my hands are shakey, but I was determined to get a good picture of this cicada shell. I took heaps of photos!
Pink petals in the grass
The Boy’s mum keeps a beautiful garden. This secret path down the bottom is especially ethereal.
Dried flax flowers
Unusually beautiful weather for a New Zealand autumn. Although ask The Boy and he’ll tell you that Hawkes Bay is always like this.
Dried leaves in the gutter
14 April 2009 – My new glasses arrived today. I love them! You might not be able to tell but there are two pairs being “modelled” here. One is tortoiseshell Burberry and the other is black Genesis (which I think is a random rebranded name). The black ones make my eyes look huge (well, huger)!
8.04.2009
When you fail for the fourth time (twice in one week actually) it’s time to reassess your commitment to the project. Obviously my concentration and memory is pretty shot at the moment so I’m going to relieve the self applied pressure on trying to take a photo every single day and instead just aim to tell the story of my week with photos. You’ll be seeing “The Week in Photos” each week instead of Project 365. :]
1 April 2009 – My sister has been desperate to watch the latest season of Gossip Girl. So she sent me a few DVDs to make a copy for her. DVDs feel so out of date already, I’m used to flash drives!
3 April 2009 – Lunch time on Friday we saw this lady on the corner of one of the busiest shopping streets in Wellington being filmed standing still amongst the bustling crowd. Hopefully I didn’t ruin their shot by stopping to take a photo.
4 April 2009 – A menagerie of twisted chains, charms, and rings on my bedside table.
5 April 2009 – We went to a friends house and ddiscovered an amazing view. Forgot to take a pic until we were leaving so it’s not the best, but you could see a lot from the house.
6 April 2009 – This is exactly the type of thing I hoped people would use my services for. I love my customers! It’s such a delight to be able to provide something I’m proud of.
7 April 2009 – Kroko the Toyvoyager arrived today. He’s the biggest TV I’ve hosted and he arrived just in time for a weekend away in Hawkes Bay.

25 March 2009 – How a finished package from my shop looks. Pink and black, my favourites!
26 March 2009 – Chickie Little’s computer has been crashing a lot lately.
27 March 2009 – Another one of those days where I just grab something close to take a photo. This is Barry, my uber cute cell phone holder.
28 March 2009 – Chickie Little’s hubby created an arcade machine with one of his friends. It’s huge and awesome!
29 March 2009 – One of my first Etsy purchases. I don’t usually wear gold tones but this necklace was too adorable, lots of pink beads and a flying robot!!
30 March 2009 – I’m meant to get a blood test once a month to make sure my medication isn’t killing me or something, but I’m pretty slack. Finally went for one on Monday (only a month overdue!).
31 March 2009 – Amy men, tanks and guns. Love you laser cutter xx
25.03.2009
18 March 2009 – Box of packaging. Screeds of ribbons, organza bags, confetti and pillow boxes!
19 March 2009 – A birthday present for my friend Amy. The blue organza I ordered is so sparkly!
20 March 2009 – Mmm green cake. We had a leprechaun lunch to celebrate St Patricks day and pretty much all of the food was green. These cupcakes (made by a boy even) were delicious. I think I had 3 0_O
21 March 2009 – Congratulations to Bridey and Gem who won prizes in my jewellery draw. Your goodies will be with you shortly.
22 March 2009 – After brunch with friends we wandered to the Italian Festival in the freezing weather. Too full to eat anything we walked home and I remembered a heart I’d seen months ago when I didn’t have my camera with me. I’m glad I had my camera this time :]
23 March 2009 – Siamese gummy bears. Delicious siamese gummy bears.
24 March 2009 – A dragonfly necklace to match the dragonfly earrings in my store. They’ll be added to the shop soon.
18.03.2009
11 March 2009 – Laser cut acrylic rings for my Etsy shop. They’re so cute. My black and red ones have been on rotate every day.
12 March 2009 – My life is all about decadence. lol. Felt lemon cake, cream puffs, and donut from fellow NZ Etsyer LisaJHoney. + Black forest chocolate, cupcake necklaces, soft netting and ribbons. :D
13 March 2009 – Bowling again! Kids can be so funny, Mo obviously couldn’t decide which was more important – his hot chips or trying to bowl without the kids guide.
14 March 2009 – Mmmm delicious.
15 March 2009 – The Boy played in his first Ultimate Frisbee tournament on Sunday and I got to see him play for the first time. The day was absolutely stunning.
16 March 2009 – An exciting day for me. My first ever Etsy sale. I can’t wait till I can do this for a job!
17 March 2009 – Bowling ball looks like a planetary nebula something or other.
4.03.2009
25 February 2009 – While walking home from another delicious meal at Arashi we saw a little monarch butterfly crawling along the gutter. The boy picked it up to move it out of harms way. Such a sweetie.
26 February 2009 – We discovered another place for cheap drinks. It’s called Shooters, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights it’s a student meat market, but on Thursdays it’s beers for $3 and cocktails for $5!
27 February 2009 – While hanging out at the boys works on Friday night I noticed a pretty little silver cup taped to his computer screen, wondering WTF it was for, he told me it was the fail cup. He got it when he commented on an industry chat, someone asked for a phone umber, someone else replied with the wrong phone number, and the boy corrected the mistake with the same incorrect phone number. He gets confused sometimes.
28 February 2009 – One of my jewellery pieces being modelled by a baby tree :p
1 March 2009 – Finally got my hoop home! It’s awesome. I was worried, due to my lack of skill in using the light childrens hoop, that I would suck with this one. I was so wrong.
2 March 2009 – Martin tries to distract me from reading my computer screen for hugs.
3 March 2009 – Bowling is becoming a fortnightly event. The shoes are so disgustingly hot and non breathing!
25.02.2009
18 February 2009 – Off northwards to visit the family for a couple of days…and to see Iron Maiden! All the essentials are packed, handbag, laptop, cute mini suitcase rescued from a dumpster.
19 February 2009 – Waipa Primary School, the last of the 6 primary schools I went to, and the one I was at longest. We picked up my brother from school while I was home.
20 February 2009 – Iron Maiden!! No cameras allowed, so this is the best memento I could get. We were a bit far away for photos anyway but it was still great.
21 February 2009 -Cuba Street Carnival night! I made sure to fly back home in time for the parade. The parade ended up being over 2 hours long, and was a bit disjointed but still fun. It’s a pity that by the time the best floats came around everyone was over it.
My camera wouldn’t take photos properly in the dark so I took a whole bunch of videos instead. I was going to take a screenshot, but I’ve opted to introduce you to the Real Hot Bitches instead. They’re an equal opportunity dance group, that like to do their thing in the tightest lycra available. They’re amazing.
Now that you’ve watched that I’ll bet you’re intrigued as to how you can become a Real Hot Bitch too. Just follow these instructions.
22 February 2009 – I spent all day today sitting on the couch in a slip, watching downloaded TV and creating a bracelet.
23 February 2009 – I thought these cricket posters were pretty cool done in the say way as iPod advertisements
24 February 2009 – A few of the things important to me at the moment – Atheism/evolution/science/scepticism/truth/reality, cupcakes, and jewellery
18.02.2009
11 February 2009 – Big tree in Mt Vic.
12 February 2009 – Yum, pizza for dinner and free pool on Thursdays at JJ’s.
13 February 2009 – At 5 minutes to 12 I had to quickly take a photo with my phone or risk missing 3 photos in 2 weeks. We were at a house party and the boys discovered some tribal drums, this photo is of my shoes in front of me as I sit on the stairs listening to them make up some beats away from the music.
14 February 2009 – This wasn’t another late night return from town, it was a late night view of the town while making jewellery.
15 February 2009 – If you’re ever in Wellington Roxy is a great place for breakfast (*cough* lunch/afternoon tea/first meal of the day *cough*). My plate was $17 (the one without bacon and sausages) and I didn’t get close to finishing it. And the boy gave the coffee his great compliment “it was pretty good and I didn’t need that much sugar”).
16 February 2009 – New hoop! Still have to get it home though.
17 February 2009 – Bowling again. It’s hard to get a good photo in here with my camera. I sucked, again.
10.02.2009
29 January 2009 – The Leuven does huge (1kg) pots of mussels with fries for $19! Chickie Little and I shared a pot and were still full afterwards.
30 January 2009 – Another gorgeous Wellington sunset
31 January 2009 – The Freak Space – Blankets for sale, will trade for land, beads or guns.
1 February 2009 – Jewellery teaser. Are you excited? I am!
3 February 2009 – F is for fuck, forgot, and foto. As in I fucking forgot to take a photo yesterday! So now I start again making this day one of 365. Argh!
Honestly, you guys aren’t very attentive. You didn’t even notice I didn’t post photos on Thursday did you!
4 February 2009 – A new Chow cocktail – W.A.D vodka, espresso, and sugar. Yum but too much coffee to finish it.
5 February 2009 – Tricksy long weekends. We thought Thursday was Friday and 2 for 1 Sol night.
6 February 2009 – Pictures never quite capture the beauty of this rugged coastline. It’s still tied with the Desert Road as my favourite road in NZ
7 February 2009 – Waikanae beach is absolutely stunning. Kapiti Island is so close and looks amazing with all the cloud clinging to the top.
8 February 2009- Jewellery making is consuming me.
9 February 2009 -I can’t look at this without seeing a lady robot face with big eyelashes and pursed lips.
